Scott David Russell is a writer, editor, screenwriter, and creative consultant whose work spans film & television, comics, prose, and education. As Senior Editor for Fox Kids Magazine, Scott helped bring iconic properties like Spider-Man, Goosebumps, and The Tick to life in print, shaping stories for millions of young readers. His screenwriting credits include award-winning short and feature films and he has written for Disney Imagineering, the History Chanel, Warner Interactive, and dozens of independent production companies.

A longtime contributor to the Southern California literary and arts scene, Scott has also developed writing programs, taught composition and storytelling at the college level, and produced media content for national nonprofits. He has won dozens of awards for his writing, including the ProMax Gold Medalion, GDC Writer’s Night, and NYCMidnight. He is currently finishing Spirits of the Glenwood, a novel with magical realism elements, and Changeling, a folkloric fantasy novel.

Scott is the Creative Director of Sirena Studios, where he produces video, animation, and design.
